AGM 8th January 2026. The AGM and presentation of trophies will be held on Thursday 8th January 2026 at 7pm, Whittingham Club.
Teams not sending a representative to this meeting will be fined ;20.
Please note new access arrangements for Whittingham Club and Bowling green.
Whittingham Bowling Club New access route to the bowling green owing to continuing development work. The current access road is now a continuous road which bends around the back of the green and the Social Club. Continue round till you reach the new houses on the right and opposite you will find 2 new entrances. The first one with a barrier is for CAMPERS ONLY but the second one brings you to the tarmac car park in front of the old club with marked spaces. Any overspill parking will be signed, please do not park on the campers area unless you are directed there.

Presidents day report.
Presidents; Day 2025 St Michaels on Wyre Bowling Club President Mr John Morris
Saturday 21st June 2025 has been crowned as the hottest day of the year so far, and even a few spots of rain could not dampen the spirits at St Michaels. Presidents Da was an excellent day. The bowling green and its grounds looked lovely. Congratulations to all of the players, the bowling was exceptional. So many very close games, however there had to be a winner and Steve Edwards representing Frenchwood, beat Michael Knowles representing Woodplumpton A, in the final with a score of 21 9. Steve had worked his way through the competition, knocking out Gary Daw - Owd Nells TT, in the semi-final with a score of 21-15 and Michael winning against Dave Kay Parkfield A, with score of 21-16. The day was a resounding success and we do thank the host club St Michaels for all of their hard work. The markers, the measurers and of course the army of helpers who kept everyone fed and watered. It was a fabulous day. Thank you all.

Parking at St Michaels is limited but there is a Village Hall on Blackpool Rd, 500 yds walk away.
